HagfishHagfish are sometimes called "slime eels" because they produced large amounts of milky slime when they are disturbed. They are bottom-dwelling fish found in ocean waters throughout the world. There are approximately 77 species of of hagfish.

LampreysThe lamprey has an eel-like body without fins. Its mouth is jawless, round, sucker-like, and as wide as the head, sharp teeth are arranged in many consecutive circular rows. There are only 9 species of lampreys found in the ocean out of the 43 known species.
